KCM S.A. has started to buy electric power under new contractual
conditions
Since February 5th, 2005 KCM SA has started to buy electric power
under new contractual conditions. As one of the biggest consumers,
the company signed an individual contract with the producer "Maritsa
East 2". The conclusion of such kind of a contract is regulated
by the Law of Energy which allows subscribers consuming more than
40 GW to contract directly with the electric power producer about
the quantity and price.
KCM S.A. is one of the seventh companies in Bulgaria that works
under the new market scheme of National Electric Company. The plant
uses electric power on 168-hour schedule that is drawn up on the
basis of the process loading of the units.
