Membership
Bulgaria is a member-country in The
International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG). The
individual partnership of KCM SA in the International Lead and
Zinc Study Group dates back to 1989. The annual meetings and
conferences of the Group are attended by Nikola Dobrev, Ass.
Prof., Dr., Eng CEO of KCM 2000 S.A. and Anton Shukerov from
the "KCM TRADE" S.A., Plovdiv.

KCM SA has been a member of International
Zinc Association (IZA) since 1994. The CEO of KCM
2000 S.A. Nikola Dobrev, Ass. Prof., Dr., Eng. has been a
member of the Board of Directors since 1992. Two of our representatives
participate actively in the Information, Education and Image
Committee.

- 1967 Masters degree in Metallurgy of Non-ferrous
Metals at the Higher Institute of Chemical Technology,
Sofia;
- 1971-1972 - Specialization at the Polytechnic in
Aachen, Germany;
- 1984 Specialization at the University of Saarbrucken,
Germany;
- 1989-1990 - Graduated the Managers School of Leibniz
Academy in Hanover, Germany.

- 1978 Defended a doctorate on Physical and Chemical Grounds
of Zinc Bearing Products Treatment;
- 1981 Associate Professor in Metallurgy of Non-ferrous
Metals.

- 1985-1991 Executive Director of KCM Dimitar Blagoev,
Plovdiv;
- From 1992 to April 2004 - Exceutive Director of KCM SA,

- Since April 2004 - CEO of KCM 2000 S.A., Plovdiv.
Dr.
Nikola Dobrev has published more than 60 issues on the metallurgy
of non-ferrous metals as well as the management of production
and companies. He is a full member of the International Science
Academy of Environment Saint Petersburg, Russia.
