The Non-ferrous Metals Smelter (KCM SA) is situated on the 900 decare site between Plovdiv and Assenovgrad. During those 40 years of development we accumulated enough experience and knowledge in the field of the non-ferrous metallurgy, a fact which deservedly assigns us the position of the biggest producer of non-ferrous metals and lead and zinc alloys in the Central and Eastern Europe. Our efforts are also directed to the search of new possibilities for production development, diversification of the products list and sale of precious metals and special application metals.

Our production activity includes recovery and refining of metals and provides products which service the operation of certain companies, domestic as well as foreign.

We respect each client’s rights and are aware of our responsibility towards him. The certification under ISO 9000-2000 is an expression of our will that the products bearing KCM’s trademark have to satisfy the international standards and the requirements of the consumers. We aim at being respectable partners in each our client’s success.

We are working actively to solve the problems related to the environmental preservation and sustainable development of the region. In the last two years alone we have made investments to the amount of over USD 70,000,000 in projects of ecological and social importance.

Our staff is very well trained and responsible. Approximately 2,500 people work on the territory of KCM, all of them loyal to the company and sufficiently motivated for their professional and personal progress.

We improved the managing system by decentralizing the responsibilities. The new entitlements and responsibilities of the managers on all levels developed the striving for optimal good performance and concern for the growth of KCM SA. Giving an account of the professional and personal qualities of the personnel, we placed the right people at the right posts.

We have a highly qualified team of managers, able to manage and make decisions in critical situations. Relying on their knowledge, competencies and personal involvement, the team of managers declares ambitions for permanent progress and prosperity for KCM SA.
